Home / FAQ
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is an assessment of all accessible components and major systems based on a visual inspection according to the Standard of Practice.
How long does a pre-purchase home inspection take?
Approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the size and age of the home. We strongly encourage you to accompany us during the inspection.
Will I get an opinion if I should buy a home or not?
No, but you will get an in depth report outlining the condition of the home. This will help you make a well informed purchasing decision.
How can I be sure the inspector is not biased?
As a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Home Inspectors (OntarioACHI) we are strictly following their Code of Ethics. It ensures that we stay objective and disclose any conflicts of interests to you.
